Spring 2018 Trends

Bonjour mes amies! With slightly longer days and flowers just peaking out of the soil… am I the only one who can sense spring days right ahead? And, HELLO, with spring weather means spring fashion! I’m super excited for this post because spring is one of the best seasons for fashion, and I’m talking pretty dresses, cool pants, and cute sandals. Now, I’ve been keeping a close eye on Instagram, Pinterest, and stores to try and summarize some of the best up-and-coming spring looks for you all, and I hope you enjoy♥

1. Gingham

You are lying if you tell me this isn’t the cutest thing ever! From Bella and Gigi Hadid to Kendall Jenner, everyone, and I mean everyone, has been rocking this style. I’ve got to get my hands on one of these dresses because they are so adorable, and I can sense that they will be super popular this season.

2. Wrap Dresses

I always thought wrap dresses were for grown working women (LOL), but boy was I wrong! This season wrap dresses have been given a new colorful, youthful twist, and I’m all about it. Also, wrap dresses are so cute and easy to wear. Just tie and go! The bonus: you can wear these with boots, sneakers, or sandals (aka they are so versatile).

3. Vintage Glasses

These SCREAM vintage! You can’t argue with me on this one, sunglasses make everything look cooler. You could wear a potato sack with these vintage glasses, and I’d probably say you looked cool.

4. Straw/ Net Bags

I was introduced to these by Margot Lee and Aspyn Ovard, two amazing you tubers with killer style, and once I saw them for the first time, I began to notice them everywhere. Just wait, now that I’ve shown you, I guarantee you will see net bags and straw bags all over your Instagram feed and your favorite stores. I love these bags because they are so down to earth yet also so trendy (the perfect combination). Plus, these bags are the perfect beach bag or travel companion, so they are a must-have.

5. Patterned Pants

I must admit, these patterned pants are a little bit intimidating when you have worn boring old jeans your whole life, but trust me, they are much easier to wear than you would think. The best part about these pants is that they make any outfit look put together which is a necessity for girls like me who take 20 years to put an outfit together. Notice how in all the pictures, the models are just wearing a plain t-shirt or tank top with the pants. All you have to do is wear a t-shirt you already have and get a pair of these rad pants and voila! You have the perfect outfit.

I hope these trends got you in the mood for spring! Where I live, it goes from freezing cold to burning hot in about a week, so I try to make the most of every spring day. Thanks for reading, and I’ll see you all next Sunday!
