Bonjour mes amies and merry Christmas Eve! I wish you all a wonderful, happy, and joyful holiday. This is my second Hot Chocolate and Chat (see my first one here). Basically the theme of this post is to chat like we were sitting at a cafe. I’ll share my thoughts and I want to hear from you in the comments! Thanks for stopping by my blog, I hope you enjoy!
Bath Bombs: Ok… I’m not sure you can even call this a new obsession because I’ve practically loved them since birth, but it was definitely worth it to mention how cute LUSH’s bath bombs are and how lovely their holiday collection is. The photo below is the Cheer Up Buttercup Bath Bomb from LUSH; it was so pretty, and it made the room smell like a flower field.
Stationary: Brush pens, notebooks, washi tape, and stickers are a girls best friend when it comes to journaling, taking notes, or decorating. Recently my friends and I went to the cutest stationary store and I couldn’t resist taking pictures of the paper. I would buy some, but then I would never have the heart to cut it up or use it, so I just take pictures of it for my blog hahah.
What I’m Listening To:
Wet- I’ve never heard of this group before they showed up on my Spotify, but trust me, these are the perfect songs for a chill studying or blogging session. In my opinion their songs are reminiscent of Billie Eilish and are truly beautiful.
Oh Wonder- You’ve probably heard of this group without even realizing it. I’ve heard them on Spotify, youtube, and in Instagram videos, but I just recently learned their name. Their songs are light and summery to brighten up your winter day.
What I’m Reading:
Winter break has given me the time to catch up on a serious lack of reading time during school. I recently read All Rights Reserved by Gregory Scott Katsoulis and let me tell you, this book was seriously good. I had two dreams about it, which sounds kind of crazy, but that shows you how much it makes you think. The book chronicles a girl named Speth in future America where everything is copyrighted (words, names, products). Each person wears a cuff that tracks and charges them for each word they say after their 15th birthday. The story starts when Speth doesn’t read her 15th birthday speech and refuses to speak after her friend’s tragic death. I won’t reveal too much, but it takes you through a captivating story that seriously makes you think about society and the government.
Some Instagrams I’ve been loving:
Ps.ny- I think their dog might just be the cutest thing to ever exist! I’m obsessed with the theme of their Instagram account. Healthy gorgeous food, travel pictures, and a cute dog… I followed before you could even say “Instagram”.
Elsas_wholesomelife- Elsa and her sister Ellie both have the most aesthetic and beautiful Instagram accounts. Elsa recently came out with a recipe book and opened an online shop, and I’m obsessed with everything in it.
On my mind: I felt like I wanted to just sit down and talk to my readers today instead of doing another type of post. I hope you all enjoyed this post and I’ll see you next Sunday!
P.S. If you have any songs, Instagram accounts, or anything this post made you think of make sure to write them in the comments ♥
